McQ Alexander McQueen sweatshirt (SS15 - sold out online)

Wearing some new purchases today - my new McQ by Alexander McQueen sweatshirt that I picked up in the Selfridges sale and my Alexander Wang bag (also a sale buy - will be featured in a haul video soon!) I love the multicoloured chain, and its such a good size! I'm also wearing my classic Joni jeans and white converse - probably my most worn shoes ever! x

That's Madam to You.

You may remember me showing this Red Carpet Manicure polish in an ASOS haul a few weeks ago. I picked up two shades from the new Cinderella collection, and this is the first I've tried. Apologies that the photo isn't great - but hopefully you can see the colour well enough.

The Cinderella polishes work exactly the same as the regular RCM polishes (I have a YT tutorial if you're interested). With this one, I did two coats and the shade is fully opaque with even coverage. The colour is stunning - a bright turquoise with a subtle shimmer. It's one of the brightest RCM shades I've been able to find and it's lovely - I just wish they did more bright colours!

Also, the packaging on these is lovely - they come in little boxes that look like books!

If you're interested in what I bought - Sunday's video is a haul of everything including these trainers which I picked up from the net-a-porter sale!

Here is today's new video! I hope you're all having a great week so far! I picked up a few things from HomeSense and TK Maxx so I thought I'd share them with you! Wanderlust OOTD.

I really liked this outfit - I'm wearing my new ASOS tee (I showed this in Sunday's ASOS haul), my new Urban Outfitters cardigan that I bought a few weeks ago, my favourite ZARA sandals, and my Topshop Joni jeans (these are new ones that I found in the drawer - #shopaholicproblems). I'm such a jeans and a tee girl, but you know by now I love my joni jeans and a good oversized t shirt! I also dug out my Alexander Wang Rocco bag that I haven't used for about 2 years, I'd forgotten how much I loved it!

JustFab June pick.

I haven't done a JustFab post in a while, but I couldn't wait to share this month's pick with you all! I saw these nude sandals on the website and thought they'd be the perfect addition to my sandal collection. I don't own any nude sandals, and thought these would be great with pretty much anything.

They're really nice, and as usual look more expensive than they actually were! I love that the lining is a soft suede fabric as it means they're comfortable and won't hurt my feet. The design is very simple, but I think I'll get a lot of wear out of these as they're so neutral. The white sole is really nice as it gives the shoes a 'clean' look and I like that these aren't fully nude.

As for sizing, these run a little bit small. I got them in an 8 (I'm usually an 8 in JustFab and 7.5-8 in other places) but I probably should have got the 9. They're not too small but if you're a half size I'd definitely recommend going up in these! Other than that though, these are a lovely pair of comfy sandals that I know I'll get loads of wear out of!

*Shoes purchased with member credit from JustFab's Brand Ambassador programme. Not a sponsored post.

Little ASOS Haul

Hello everyone! firstly, apologies that there wasn't a blog post up yesterday, I've not been very well and seeing as I pre-film and schedule everything at the weekends, I've struggled to get things up this week! Not to worry though as I'll be finished for summer soon so will have more time to blog and film!

Anyway, I picked up a few bits at ASOS so I filmed a haul- hope you enjoy it! x

Current Favourite Hairstyling products.

Today I'm talking hair styling. If you've followed me for a while, you'll already know that I have difficult to style, dry, frizzy, thick & coarse hair. I've rounded up my favourite styling products to tackle these issues, so I hope if you're struggling with any of them, this will help!

Ojon Revitalising Mist
I've used this one for years, and am now on my third bootle. It's a leave-in detangler that can be used on wet or dry hair. It helps to keep my hair knot-free and also leaves it looking and feeling soft, manageable and healthy. You can also use this on 2-3 day old hair that's looking dry and frizzy at the ends, and it helps to give the hair a little refresh between washes. It's an expensive one, but I always go back to this.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers invisible oil primer
This is a hair primer, heat protecter and detangler all in one. I use this on wet hair before drying (or leaving to dry naturally). It helps to prevent the hair from going frizzy, and also protects the hair from any heat styling including blow drying. This is also a primer, which works like a face primer - it helps your other products to work better, and your finished style to last for longer. It's a bit of unusual product, but I really like this one.

Philip Kinglsey Daily Damage Defense
Another detangling, leave-in conditioning product. (they're all different I promise!). This is a great one to use on wet hair and helps to keep hair healthy. I prefer the ojon to use on dry hair, but this one is nourishing, and leaves my hair soft and manageable. My favourite thing about this one is that it's anti breakage, so helps prevent against split ends too.

I'll usually use either 1 or 2 leave in detangling products, but sometimes I use all three together, which works really well without weighing my hair down or leaving it sticky.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers invisible oil
This is an oil for the ends of the hair. It's similar to other oils but is very nourishing and gets rid of a lot of frizz. Again you can use this on wet or dry hair, but be careful on dry hair, as this can look a little greasy if you use too much. I usually find applying this on the first day after washing, or on wet hair works best.

Percy & Reed Volumising no oil Oil
Another oil. This one is very lightweight, and I use this daily to keep frizz at bay. It doesn't leave your hair looking greasy at all, but helps the hair to stay soft and frizz-free. It's an odd texture, and feels very watery, but I love that it never looks greasy. I usually use this on finished hairstyles - curly or straight as a finishing product. It's a versatile one, and would probably work wonders on fine hair too.

Bumble and Bumble Surf spray
The iconic salt spray. I love this for making my hair look messy and beachy. It's great on my natural (slightly wavy) hair, and also good for straight hair. My only complaint with this one is that it does leave your hair a bit sticky, so I usually reach for this on 2nd/3rd day hair. It's a great product though, and is the best salt spray I've used.

What are your favourite hairstyling products?

Clarins Made to measure self-tan review.

There was a lot of talk of these Clarins self tanning drops last summer, but I never got around to trying them. As the warmer weather crept in a few weeks a go, I started thinking about my tanning routine again (before it went cold again!) I picked up these tanning drops to use on my face, as I don't have any facial tan, and using body tan breaks me out. I'd heard that these drops were really good, as you can tailor the shade and build it gradually.

I'm currently using the Garnier summer body on my body, which is a gradual tan that I'm really loving. Gradual tan is great for this time of year, as it's not too intense and won't look silly if the next day you need to wear a coat again!

These glow booster drops are super simple to use! I just add 3 drops to my everyday moisturiser in the evening (I use the Body Shop vitamin E moisturiser) and I get a lovely, even tan on my face. It isn't orange and isn't patchy at all. Also because you mix it with moisturiser, your face doesn't feel sticky, and it hasn't broken me out at all. I apply mine at night as it does take a little bit of time to develop but you can use it in the morning too.

I've been using these for a few weeks now, and I've hardly used any. You really don't need a lot of these! I'd just recommend exfoliating 1-2 times per week to keep the tan looking even, and I apply these most nights (usually once the colour has built up I apply every other day or every 2). I use the Liz Earle exfoliator on my face, and I usually do this when I'm exfoliating my body at the same time!

I'd definitely recommend these drops, and if you like the idea, you can also get them for body! x

Hey everyone! Hope you've all had a great weekend! I've been ill again, so haven't done much exciting! I filmed this haul video last week of some things I've picked up recently! I also found an amazing bargain in TK Maxx that I'm so excited about! Hope you enjoy the video! x

Family Christening Outfit

Michael Kors Bag

This is an outfit I wore last weekend to a family Christening. It was actually quite a cold day, so I added the kimono for a bit of warmth! I love this Zara dress as it's perfect for summer, nails the boho trend, and is so comfortable and flattering. It's also not too expensive, and I know I'll get loads of wear out of it in the Summer. The Kimono is also from Zara, I love the print and it's also a really good length. My bag is from Michael Kors and my rings and watch are the ones I always wear!

These shoes from Topshop are so comfortable! I bought them thinking they'd go well with this dress but they're really soft and I could have worn them all day and night! I think they'd work with so many outfits too! Topshop are also running a Summer of Love campaign, with loads of great summer pieces and ideas including perfect outfits for festivals, occasions and holidays!

Hope you're all well! x

Anastasia contour kit review.

There's been a lot of talk about contouring recently, and I thought I'd try it out with the Anastasia contour kit. Now I've said this before, but I'm not a fan of the Kim Kardashian look as it's just too 'done' for me, but I have discovered contouring, and I do really like it.

This palette has 6 shades - a shimmer highlight, a matte highlight (I use this as an allover setting powder), a yellow powder (perfect for under-eyes), a warm toned matte bronzer, a cool toned matte bronzer, and an ashy contour shade.

I've been using all of these shades to create the perfect contoured base, and I love it. These powders are pigmented, but blend so well that they're really easy to work with, and won't leave you with that over-done look. Of course, if you're going for that Kim K look, this palette will give you that but for me, I like things a bit more subtle.

I've been using this palette pretty much every day, and have been really loving it. It's not the cheapest, but it's not badly priced in my opinion and for me, it's worth the money.

So there's my first venture into the world of contouring, I think I'm converted.

Everyday Breakfast Smoothie

I've been enjoying healthy eating recently, and I thought I'd share my favourite breakfast smoothie recipe. This is one I came up with myself, and I promise it tastes good (despite the weird brown colour!) I use the nutribullet and the small cup that comes with it, but any blender that's similar will work.

Here's the recipe:
1/2 cup spinach
1 banana
a handful of frozen berries (I'm currently using raspberries)
A tablespoon of oats
A spoonful of linseed ( I usually just tip a bit in)
A tablespoon of chia seeds
1 measure of teapigs Matcha powder
Coconut milk to the max line

Then I just screw on the blade, and blend!
I usually have this on mornings when I'm going to work, as it keeps me full, and if I'm in a rush, I can attach a lid and take it with me!

Let me know if you try this! x
