Big London Beauty Haul

I had a day out in London last week, and bought quite a lot of stuff! I hadn't shopped for over a month, so that was my justification, but I did go quite crazy! These are the beauty bits that I picked up. The Charlotte Tilbury products were purchased at Selfridges, and everything else came from John Lewis. My mum works at Waitrose so we have a John Lewis discount card, which just made everything a bit more justifiable!

I've been wanting to try out some Charlotte Tilbury products for a while now, so decided to go for the Dolce Vita Palette, the Filmstar Bronze & Glow, Powder and Sculpt brush and the Eye Smudger brush. You may be able to tell from the photo that I've already tried them out - I couldn't wait! I'm really impressed with everything so far, and now I completely understand all the hype around them! They certainly aren't the cheapest products on the market, but are definitely luxurious.

I also couldn't go to London without picking up some Burberry beauty. There isn't a Burberry counter anywhere near me, which is such a shame as it's one of my favourite brands. I really love the lipsticks, so I decided to pick up two new shades of the Lip Mist lipsticks: Oxblood no. 214 and Pink Heather no. 210. The lovely girl on the counter also gave me a little freebie of the Lip cover lipstick in the shade Cameo Pink no.3. I also picked up the Sheer eyeshadow in Chestnut no.5. I already have the shade Rosewood, and it's one of  my favourite shadows I own. They're very soft and pigmented, but you can really vary the looks with different brushes. I really love Chestnut as a sheer wash all over the lids. I've never been disappointed with any of my Burberry products as they're just such great quality, and apply perfectly. If you were ever wondering what my favourite lipstick brand is, it's definitely Burberry. I really can't fault them at all, the formulas are spot on and every shade I've tried is just so flattering.

I also picked up two nail polishes: Nails inc Gel Porchester Square and Topshop Nails Bittersweet. I had a £10 House of Fraser voucher from back when I used to work there, so I picked up the Nails inc. polish with that, which meant it only cost me £4! The Topshop polish was from John Lewis, and I just thought it was a lovely Autumn/Winter shade. I've tried Porchester Square already and it's a gorgeous shade, which I really love. The formula is also really long-lasting and does have a really good finish to it.

Last but not least are some Benefit goodies, again from John Lewis. I'd been wanting to try the Watts Up highlighter for ages now, so I thought it was a good time to pick it up. I also got the Big Easy Complexion Perfector as I've been really getting into BB creams recently and I'd heard really good reviews about this one. I haven't made my mind up about it yet as I've only tried it once! I have the shade 03 Light/Medium for reference. I also picked up a They're Real Mascara set as it came with a free mini They're Real liner and remover sample. It's one of my favourite mascaras and I'm intrigued to try the new additions to the They're Real line, so I thought it was a good little set to pick up.

So that's all the beauty bits I got. Do let me know if you'd like to see any reviews! xx
