This is another variant of my new favourite outfit: body, skirt & trainers. I just find it comfortable and flattering. I really like my Stan Smith trainers as they're so comfortable and go with everything, although I do like pairing them with Navy outfits to pick out the details. This boohoo bodysuit is from the tall range, and is just a simple long sleeve basic one. It's only £10 and comes in other colours too!

Black body
Nike Air Max trainers
Another bodysuit and skirt combo as I'm just loving them right now! I love the detailing on this bodysuit from boohoo and it's such a soft fabric. I paired it with my denim skirt from Missguided via ASOS, which I've been wearing a lot recently, and also these new Air Max trainers that I got from the Nike outlet for just £30!

Spring shirt.
I ordered quite a few new things from boohoo recently as I had a £10 blogger voucher and also they were doing 15% student discount with unidays, so of course I had to order some goodies! I saw this shirt in Lauren Wander's vlog and instantly put it on my boohoo wishlist! It's really soft and loose fitting so is super comfortable. It was only £18 and I really love it. I paired this shirt with my Daisy street mini skirt from ASOS (another bargain) and my new lace-up leather flats which I found in TK Maxx!

Double denim.
I've been wanting to try out a bodysuit for ages, and I really like this one from River Island. The skirt is also new and I'll be showing both pieces in my fashion haul tomorrow along with these new Adidas trainers! I really like this outfit - it's so different for me, but I like the look of the double denim, and dressing down the look with trainers.

Sports Casual
All Saints leather gilet
Givenchy Pandora pure bag
I found this Zoe Karssen hoodie in TK Maxx for just £12! I really love TK Maxx for finding designer bargains! I'm really loving wearing more sporty pieces at the moment, and have been loving trainers for casual days. I also really like wearing my leather gilet to dress up an outfit and of course I'm wearing my favourite black joni jeans!

White & Huarache
H&M sweatshirt
River Island jeans (similar)
Keeping it simple today in this H&M white sweatshirt, my River Island jeans which are a vintage style and fit (no longer available as they were a sale purchase, but these are similar), and my new grey Nike Huarache trainers. I obviously would need a jacket with this outfit at the moment, because even though the sun was out it was still freezing!!

Pinafore love.
Primark t-shirt (underneath)
Clarks boots
Jewellery same as usual, Rings: vintage and The Great Frog
I never thought I'd be embracing the 60s and 70s trends, but here I am..
The pinafore dress has quickly become a bit of a wardrobe staple for me now, I now own 3 of the childhood-favourite style, there's something about a pinafore that just works, this ASOS one is really soft and it's an easy way to wear colour. I also like pairing them with my new over-the-knee boots from Clarks. I picked them up at the outlet store, and whilst they were still a little pricey for outlet, I couldn't leave them as I struggle so much to find long boots that fit my tree trunk legs. I also like that these ones are super-plain so they won't date quickly.

Dressing down a formal dress.
ASOS long sleeve top (old)
Topshop boots
You might recognise this dress from my PGCE graduation post a couple of weeks ago! I bought it for graduation but thought it was such a shame not to wear it up, so I experimented with ways I could 'dress it down' to get more wear out if it (and also how to wear it into autumn and winter). I added a plain long-sleeve tee underneath and my Topshop boots (these are the ones I got for £18 in the sale last month) and I think the outfit works well!Tuesday, 18 August 2015
Styling statement jeans.
Topshop boutique jeans (past season)
ASOS long sleeve top (old)
Topshop necklace (old)
Black TOMS (similar)
I bought these Topshop Boutique jeans in the sale ages ago for £9 but have hardly worn them. When I was tidying up last weekend, I came across them and realised that I probably should wear them! I bought them when I was a bit bigger, so they actually fit much nicer now, and I do like them. However, because they are more of a 'statement jean' I do find them quite difficult to style. I think they would look great with shorter tops (and maybe jumpers in the winter) but I styled them with a plain top and plain shoes, as it's a simple way to wear more statement pieces when you're used to plain things like me! I bought these TOMS in the office sale for £15 (these are the burlap but I couldn't find them online so have linked the regular ones instead) and they're really comfortable. I like that they're very minimal and understated, and they're great for daytime! So if you're struggling to style statement or new styles of jeans - try them with a very simple outfit first! I hope this helped some of you! x

Weekly Roundup #6
Firstly, I hope you've all had a great week! Mine has been pretty uneventful, but here's the highlights, thoughts and a roundup of my week!
Beauty
I picked up two of the new Kate Moss for Rimmel Nude lipsticks last week, and honestly haven't worn anything else since! These are amazing, the shades are beautiful (including some on-trend brown tones) and the formula is lovely. They aren't as long lasting as other brands (e.g. MAC) but I really like these! I have shade 42 & 43, but I'll definitely be looking at the others next time I'm in Boots/Superdrug.
Magazine freebies
Grazia this week has a free iced espresso/refresha drink, so of course I got an iced skinny Caramel Macchiato (#sogood). Plus this week's magazine is only £1 so it's a bargain!
ELLE this month also has a 20% off ASOS card, which I can't wait to use - I'm waiting for a few more new season pieces to arrive online first, but of course will do a haul of what I end up buying!
TV
I've watched quite a bit of TV this week, which is unusual for me! I finally watched season 3 of American Horror Story (Coven) and absolutely loved it- definitely my favourite season. I also watched the Louboutin documentary which was fascinating to see the behind the scenes of my favourite shoes! And also, I'm loving Tattoo fixers on E4, no I don't have a tattoo but it's fascinating what some idiots get tattoos of!
What's happening next...
Next week I'm off to London for a full day of shopping which I'm so excited for! I'm also meeting up with friends and enjoying the last 2 weeks of my summer holiday (seriously, where has it gone!!!?)

Wanderlust OOTD.
I really liked this outfit - I'm wearing my new ASOS tee (I showed this in Sunday's ASOS haul), my new Urban Outfitters cardigan that I bought a few weeks ago, my favourite ZARA sandals, and my Topshop Joni jeans (these are new ones that I found in the drawer - #shopaholicproblems). I'm such a jeans and a tee girl, but you know by now I love my joni jeans and a good oversized t shirt! I also dug out my Alexander Wang Rocco bag that I haven't used for about 2 years, I'd forgotten how much I loved it!

ASOS Personal Stylists
Just a quick post today! I'm really busy at the moment, but I thought I'd just let you know about the new Personal Stylists Section on ASOS. It's a great place to get some inspiration from the ASOS stylists, and is really great if you're looking for some new season pieces but can't decide! The daily edit is full of daily inspiration and you can see it here!
There's different stylists (including curve and menswear) so there's plenty of inspiration. My favourites are Megan and Isabella.
Hope you've all had a great Monday x
